Pro not reading diodes.

I just finished a project on a paintball gun circuit board that had a bad diode.  It took me forever to troubleshoot because even the new diode measured "OC" open circuit with the pokit pro.  Both fuses are good as all other functions work.  When I check the new diode with my Klein DMM it measures 1.15 volts which is about right.  Is there something I'm missing with the pro?  It also does it with LED's as well.  Sometimes it'll measure like it's supposed to but about 95% of the time it just reads open circuit.

  Pokit Pro can only measure diodes up to 1V due to the way the front end protection works
