Confused over oscilloscope calibration on Pokit Pro
When using the oscilloscope mode I can set the Volts per Division and Time per division and display the waveform - all as one would expect, but after zooming or moving the trace one can end up with odd values (0.837 ms per division for example) which isn't very useful for measurements. I can't see any easy way to change it back to a standard setting: if I go into the setup screen it still shows the Time per div I originally set but this is now different from the screen. The only way I can find to restore settings is to exit the oscilloscope mode and restart it.
There should be some simple way to revert the screen to the situation before zooming such as a 'reset' option.
Or am I missing something?

Hi Geoff,
I found a quick method to "reset" the display. Go to the "Mode" function, then simply briefly scroll either Unit or Time to a new setting, then back to your desired setting. For me, this resets the Oscilloscope display.

Thank you for that suggestion Brian.
It would be nice to just have a "restore" button though - I find it too easy to accidentally alter the display grid and would find a quick way of restoring it very useful.

I completely agree!

Yes we are aware of this issue, the "restore" button isn't a bad idea.
In our original implementation we had the pinch and drag snap to the nearest 2,5,10 position similar to the vertical scale on a normal oscilloscope, this was a HORRIBLE user experience when trying to use in practice though, I would always find myself fighting with it to get the zoom level I wanted.
In any case the V/div are only meant to be used as a rough guide anyway in general it is better to use cursors for precision measurements.
This is quite easy with the Pokit app you simply tap and hold and a cursor will appear, tapping on the vertical line of the cursor will highlight it so you can drag it to adjust its position, a second tap and hold will add a second cursor so you can make delta measurements (third tap and hold deletes the cursors).
