Long term 1 amp: logging fridge current consumption and duty cycle

I am planning to log the current that my fridge draws and the duty cycle.  It's around 300W, so just over 1 amp at 230V.

The manual suggests running the high current range for short periods of time, but as I'm planning to run at 10% of the maximum, I'm hoping that restriction won't apply.

Any ideas on this anyone please?

  As the manual states you can measure <6A continuously
