button stiff
just got mine. the button appears to be really stiff, doesnt have an obvious feeling of being pressed or not. is this normal? I appear to be able to wake it with the button but my first impression is the button is broken? or at least partially broken....

Found this topic by searching since I have the same experience as you describe. The button feels very stiff and unresponsive and the little LED does not seem to give any indication when I push the button.

Unfortunately the button we used is a little on the spongey side, this is due to its compactness, we optimized the design for smallest possible so this is one unfortunate tradeoff, were going to see what we can do in future design revisions but there is not a whole lotta space to work with.
As for the LED indication when the unit is not connected we flash the LED green once (this is helpful for debugging connection issues) it is connected the button becomes contextual. At the moment all it does is save measurement but we could have it do other stuff like take DSO reading, HOLD DMM measurement, cycle modes ect via a settings page (to be added later).
I think a solution would be to have the LED flash the channel colour when it is connected to the app so the user can have feedback on button presses and flash green 3 times when it isnt connected so we can still use that for debugging.
