[Multimeter] default AC vs. DC (selectable or default AC)
Working with my pokit Pro I've encountered various situations where I'd use my pokit to verify I properly disconnected or switched off a circuit-breaker in my house to perform work on the electrical installation. (230V AC household-system).
Unfortunately, pokit App always starts DC as setting, giving me a nearly zero reading on AC lines (as it is supposed to do). That is all right, but in my eyes very dangerous. Often times I don't check with AC vs DC which gives me the impression of a properly switched off (deadly) AC line. [I am totally aware of the fact, that electrical work on AC lines is only one of many use cases]. For somebody working e.g. on a car -- that is fine, you always need DC. But I'd consider safety to be more relevant.
Anyways I'd suggest having the default setting (AC vs. DC) either selectable in the preferences menu.

Actually, is there any reason the Pokit app can't select Vac or Vdc automatically? I would think it could fairly readily determine the voltage type within a few samples.

No DC signal is free of AC, and vice versa. And either can be dangerous when not displayed correctly. So that would be pure guessing which is the current application case. This I am voting to make the default selectable which should not be too much trouble in terms of SW dev.

Default selectable for people that work on both
