Pokit Pro not turning on
Hi,
Haven't used the pokit pro for a few weeks and now it will not turn on or take a charge - have you any ideas?

Hi there,
What happens when you plug your Pokit in to charge (be sure to wait a few minutes once you have plugged it in)? What happens when you press and hold the button on the Pokit? Are you able to find out what firmware your Pokit had?

Hi,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. From the app, the unit looks as if it is on firmware V1.2.0
Nothing happens when i press and hold the button, and it does not appear to be taking a charge.
The LED does not light when trying to charge it, and the unit appears to be dead. It has been unused since the start of January.

Hi,
I'm afraid not. The app opens then eventually takes me to the "Devices" screen. The pokit pro was on the first tile, but at the bottom it scrolls "searching...tap button on Pokit Pro".
I can go to the settings from there, and it shows the firmware version, but the device id definitely not connected, is definitely not turning on, and is not charging. I have tried various different leads and chargers.

There is another thing we would like you to try. Are you able to download EFR Connect? This is a Bluetooth scanner that will help us further diagnose the problem with your Pokit. Go into the browser in EFR connect and see if you can see your Pokit.

Hi,
I have tried EFR connect, and it does not show the Pokit Pro. I have also tried my tablet which had the app installed. Again, the pokit pro does not connect as it will not turn on.
It looks like it does not like being left sleeping for a period of time. Have you any suggestions on how to get it to charge?

hey pokit, could you please provide some more information on what we should expect to see in EFR connect, like vendor id, vendor name, or bluetooth address? I think I have the same issue as Neil, but I can't tell if I can see my pokit in EFR connect since I just see a bunch of unnamed devices.

On a whim, I connected my Pokit Pro to a USB-C PD charger, jiggled the connector, and the LED up. I then let it charge for a minute, connected it to the app, and firmware updated it and it seems fine so far. No idea what the root cause is, but I suspect it has something to do with the connector, which seems slightly misaligned with the plastic body, or if it has something to do with MCU sleeping or battery levels.

Where is EFR Connect obtained? It's not listed in the Apple App store.
After I try to Pair, and do a refresh, under other devices PokitPro is shown, next column is 4 columns with the first three red, then Pro in red. (signal strength bars) That's as far as I can get. if I X out of that window, no devices are shown but four boxes with a + in the middle, then ADD DEVICE. If I click any one of those, I'm back to the window above. At no time do I see a pokit pro stat page. There is a Version 1.4.3 under the 4th Add Device block, which I assume is the app version? Seems like my pokit pro is not working with the app. It also doesn't show under Blue Tooth Devices on my phone, even though the app seems to indicate is has been paired...
What next?

I have the same problem. After an app break of approx. 10 hours my Pokit Pro will not connect. Only an unpair-pair sequence helps to reconnect.

Hi, Same problem here.
How to see the Pokit Pro on EFR connect app?
I can see some devices but with N/A indication... I don't know what to to to choose the right device.
