Pokit arrived, but stung by charges

My Pokit arrived today! Only took 2 minutes to set up the app, and the find my pokit is a nice touch. However as always there is a Rub, I got stung with EU Customs charges (VAT at 23%) plus - the real rub, postal service charges of an additional 10 Euro, yes thats MORE than the VAT!

Note to team, try to get customs (Duty & VAT) agreements figured out so they can be paid at purchase time, saving the exorbitant postal fees

  Indeed, I had exactly the same experience. The handling charge was also more expensive than the actual customs charge!

  I wouldn't mind too much, except my unit is dead-on-arrival and therefore I have had to pay this fee on a dead product, and I may have to pay it again *IF* Pokit should ship a replacement. That said, I've been trying to get support on this matter since mid-December, and I'm still struggling to get a meaningful reply from their support team......

  Kickstarter price: a bit above 50€.
  Customs: a bit under 37€.

  Total price : around 87€ delivered
