    Hi there,

    That is the intended way. When measuring current Pokit's power usage is quite high, therefore we try to minimize the time that pokit is in current mode, to save power of course. 

    We can see how this may not be ideal though. If we need to change this we can do it in the next firmware update.

    Can you please tell us more about your needs and application?

    Is the power consumption high when its actually measuring, or also when its not measuring but stil in low-impedance current mode?

     

    I am trying to measure the power consumption of a microcontroller project as it goes through its various stages
