Production units have finally arrived!
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been able to hit ‘GO’ on production, and are super excited to finally announce that our first 50 production PCBAs are in hand! Now that we're able to begin in-house testing on the PCBAs to ensure that they are functioning correctly, our focus will be shifting to testing multichannel functionality and ensuring that these production PCBAs are working well with the new Pokit App. All tooling for the plastic enclosures has been approved, and we should be receiving these in the coming week or two. We can’t wait to combine the two components and have our first complete production Pokit Pro units in our hands!
Our embedded software team is hard at work optimising the product's batter usage efficiency and are also working on determining how to best use the LED light to communicate information effectively to the user. The Pokit App team have been tidying up how Pokit Pro works as a single channel and have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the production PCBAs to complete multichannel functionality, so they will be able to begin this now!

Pokit Maker May
We’re so happy to announce our upcoming campaign, Pokit Maker May! What is this you may ask? During the month of May we will be putting Pokit Meter to the test, pairing it with Arduino to create fun projects that you guys can take inspiration from. Our first project we have for you is our Arduino Signal Generator. We used an Arduino to create a signal generator while Pokit Meter measured and logged the signal wave the Arduino was generating. Take a look at it in the video below and on our blog:
How to: Build an Arduino Signal Generator
Over the month of May, we will be holding the Pokit Maker May competition in search for the best projects that you guys can come up with. We will choose the best and most creative project that incorporates the Pokit Meter. So, get your thinking caps on because we will be giving away a US$100 Pokit Shop voucher to the maker/creator that has the best project. You will also have the chance to be featured on our social media profiles.
To enter the competition, post it on Facebook or Instagram and use the hashtag #PokitMakerMay to allow us to see them. We’ll review all of the submitted entries in the beginning of June and announce a winner shortly after.
While you’re at it, you can also like us on Facebook & Instagram. We’re so excited to see everyone’s creative ideas / inventions!
If you have anything that you would like to see us create using the Pokit Meter and Arduino, leave a comment on the Pokit Forum. You can also submit your projects here for everyone to see!
