External temperature probe

Wondering about the external NTC temperature probe. Appears to come with banana plugs and is polarized (red/black) which seems weird for a resistor... and banana plugs mean another adapter to connect. Curious what the nominal specifications are (resistance, beta) and how sophisticated the calibration is.

  Hi Niall, the NTC temperature probe plugs aren't actually polarized, so it doesn't matter which plug you attach to each Pokit Pro probe tip.

  Resistance: 10KΩ

  Beta: B25/85=3435K

  Thanks, that is useful. I recognized polarity for a thermistor would be odd, but as they supply red/black banana plugs it seemed to imply that. It was probably just cheaper than getting another colour ... ;)

  Didn't realize I already had banana clip adapters either !
