Pokit app 1.4.2 / 1.4.3
Hi everyone.
I’m quite confused.
I’ve just noticed an update for the pokit app on iOS. The AppStore entry reports version 1.4.2 with “bug fixes for the oscilloscope”.
after installing the app, it says it’s version 1.4.3 🤔
moreover the bugs are still very present:
- zooming in/out or moving the trigger level while the scan is underway is still not possible.
- moving the trigger level doesn’t change the reading on its label, which still stays locked at “-0.0”, wherever the trigger level actually is.
- the vertical scale is fictionally increased as you pan the view up/down so that the horizontal axis is moved out of the screen.
I’m wondering which oscilloscope bugs are you referring to in the patch notes 🤨🤨
This is becoming a bit ridiculous: many backers have already received their unit in the last few months and still the oscilloscope is not in a usable shape.
Do you have at least an ETA for the actual fix on these bugs?

After 11 days, some kind of acknowledgment would be nice…

At this point this project feels like a students’ homework that’s been abandoned.
It’s not clear if you don’t have the resources to manage your community and interact on these forums or you just don’t care.
On the development side, it’s unclear if you have no idea how to solve the issues the app has and how to add missing key features, you don’t have enough resources to do so or, again, you just don’t care.
I believed a lot in this project and was ready to help you I,prove the app with tests and suggestions, but once again I don’t understand if you’re not able to manage this project or you don’t care and your team has already been shifted on your next project.
If you’re interested in continuing to develop and improve the PokIt Pro device and app, I’m here to help. If you’re just interested on the financial side of business management, I’m out.
