Hi Joneze, please contact our support team at support@pokitmeter.com and we will be able to assist you from there. Thank you!

I suspect you accidentally tried to measure volts with the switch in the mA position and blew the fuse.  No disrespect intended, I say this because that is exactly what I did right out of the box so had to order some fuses off Amazon to replace it.  I knew better but just got too excited to start playing with my new Pokit Pro.  I am used to my Fluke beeping at me if I have the probes in the wrong position when switching to voltage measurement.

You said it: your Fluke multimeter beeps when you have probes in the wrong position AND you switch measurement.

PokIt app warns you to move the switch if you try to change the measurement from the "Mode" panel, but nobody, PokIt or Fluke, will ever warn you if you try to measure a voltage and your don't even change the mode from Amperometer.

That's how I probably blew my 500 mA fuse as well: yesterday I measured some current and this morning i just turned on my PokIt Pro and tried to measure a voltage without changing mode nor moving the switch.

Tip no. 4: after using the PokIt Pro, ALWAYS slide the switch to Volts; this way the probes will use the high impedance circuitry and you won't run the risk of breaking fuses because you forget to switch the mode ;)

Good tip.  Ever since my first test when I blew the same fuse I always switch it to V when in storage and so far it has kept me out of trouble.

Thanks to Google translate I see you are asking which fuses I found on Amazon to replace the 500mA fuses.

Here is the link to what I found and used in my Pokit Pro.  They claim to be 1000VDC 500mA.  DC fuses are generally ok for AC but not vice versa.

Is the voltage important when looking for an alternative fuse to the supplied one with 600V?

I see some fuses sold in my neighborhood shop only has the amperes specified but no voltage.

    Hi,

Just got my Pokit Pro a few days ago, tried to measure a 1.2V NiMH cell - 0V... strange, then tried to switch to resistance , and put the two probes together, just got OC on the screen.

Contacted support and they sent me a video showing how to change the fuses (much more useful than the diagrams in the paper manual). I find the fuse changing procedure very tricky - those screws are SMALL!

Anyway, i tried levering up the fuses with a screwdriver and it started bring up the fuse contact (on both fuses). I've attached images, so you can see. I can't lever the fuses up any further as they are in contact with the case at this point.

I think, in future versions, an integral lever to pop the fuses out would be a nice improvement :-)

Has anyone else had issues like this?

    Thanks!

    Paul.

Levering them up is not enough, you need to actually PULL them out sliding out of the casing. Is you notice there’s some space with a ramp that guides the fuse up and out of its socket.
Problem is it’s tightly fit into its place and there is no space to grab the fuse tip with your fingers and pull it out. You need to use a pair of small-tip pliers to grab it.
