I was very excited to have received my new Pokit last week, but unfortunately I am unable to get the unit to work. It is not showing up as a device in my Bluetooth devices list, and as such I am unable to connect to it.
I have removed the insulator tab from underneath the CR2032 battery and checked that the battery contacts appear to be making good contact with the battery.
I have measured the battery and it is a healthy 3.1 volts. I have continuity checked that the fuse is in tact and replaced it carefully. I am unsure what else I can try, as my understanding is that at this point, the unit should be visible to be discovered by my phone.
I am trying to connect to an iPhone 6, but I have also tried to connect to an iPhone X and this is unable to detect the unit either. The App is installed and functioning, but it cannot detect the Pokit.
Currently the unit appears to be Dead on Arrival. Has anyone else had this issue where their Pokit is not even presenting a Bluetooth identifier?
Any suggestions would be gratefully received, as I am not having much luck getting a reply from the Pokit Support Team. Thanks.
