Continuous *live* scope capture
The Pokitmeter app scope mode as I have it now captures samples for a selected period then displays them.
I was expecting that the scope function would give a live, or as close to live as feasible, impression of what the Pokit was measuring as in a normal oscilloscope.
Can you please provide this functionality, as this is at the core of what I need the Pokit for.
Battery life be damned!
I am sure the sample capturing mode will still be useful in many cases.

Hello Jasper,
I agree with your request for activation of this feature, by Pokit Innovations, because I also need this feature. However, I honestly expected this feature from the start.
I hope that this will be recorded with one of the soon following updates.
With the request to do this to Pokit Innovations.
Best regards

Agreed. I almost always have both hands holding probes. -russg

Bump! Same wish!

Agreed, I was a bit startled to see that Pokit did not do this already. Continuous capture should be the default.

Using the pokitmeter a lot recently and am really struggling with the capture thing. Need another hand 8).
Can someone from Pokit innovations comment on whether this feature request is on the roadmap.
Cheers

I, too, expected a live capture when using the oscilloscope.feature. It should definitely be included as an option in a future update. Lacking the ability to view a real-time signal severely limits the capabilities of the device.

Hello Pokit Innovations Team, can you comment what are your plans concerning this feature? It's a key point for my buying decision..
Best regards, Simon

As far as I know, it still isn't available (or is it?).
I know, that it would probably reduce the battery lifetime significantly, but I think, this is acceptable.I would be interestet in this feature too; for the Pokit meter as well as the Pokit Pro in the future.
From my point of view, this is essential for so many applications where the pokit could be a great tool.
This is the main reason for me, why I didn't order mine jet. Thanks a lot!

I'm bumping this up as it is still something that I feel would round off a very good product. If we can watch a signal live, we can use it for tuning and also size and scale the window easily.
Hope you guys look at this request!

Bumping this again because it's such a basic feature. I really think everyone that buys it expects at least this feature.

This request is now 4 years old.
Are there any news regarding this topic?1 -
Yay! Plz, do that!

Update: you have implemented this after all, I just had to RTFM! The "Freerun" mode that you have provided when set to Oscilloscope does the job well. You need a Pokit Pro for this feature.
Here is a link to a Pokit produced video on YouTube showing how the Pokit Pro works as an Oscilloscope:
You can close this support request now, excellent work.

Charles, I need it for my ordinary non-pro pokit.
