Support for Galaxy watch?
Do we have an app for galaxy watch?

Official comment
Hi shaurya jain,
We will be developing a smartwatch app for both Apple and Android devices in the future. We are currently focusing on Pokit Pro's development and a major update for the Pokit App for the time being. We will make an announcement when the smartwatch app is released.

+1 for this. Probably more of these in the Aus. marketplace than Android WearOS ?

I would also be happy with a tizen app

Surely some time can be added to the Smart Watch App by now.

Hi Jasen Poole,
Our app developers are finishing up the new Pokit App first, and then will be turning their attention to the smartwatch apps for iOS and Android.

Any updates on the watch app project?
Looking forward to recommending Pokit to colleagues who could really make use of a hands free multimeter.1 -
Hi Wayne Seltzer,
No new information about the smartwatch app just yet. We've been focused on getting production started and tidying up the new Pokit App for full release. Be sure to be reading our weekly updates as this where we share all the latest developments.

What android watch platforms will the app support and will it support galaxy watch 4?

Any news on the galaxy watch app. One of the main reasons I went for the Pro was the promise of the watch app. Hard to look at and balance a phone on bike when fault finding.

As usual it seems we are expected to wait years for things pokit advertised the pokit pro would do. We waited over 2 years to get ours delivered and now we have been waiting over a year again for the promised watch app. I won't be recommending you to anyone I know in the future.

Agreed. The watch app was the big push to purchase this. They had plenty of time to finish the app in between production slips.

Surely its time now for some focus to be added to the Smart Watch App by now.

I would think that a companion watch app would increase the market value of the Pokit?
I have a pokit meter and don't use it much. It's always in my backpack in case I need a meter.
But, a $10 digital multimeter is easier to use than Pokit + phone.
On the other hand, if I could use my watch as the Pokit display (and leave my phone in my backpack, pocket, etc.) I'd use the Pokit all the time.4 -
It's been well over a year for requesting an android watch app, surely this well underway or nearly finished?

Hi Jasen Poole, the Pokit smartwatch app is being worked on currently and we are expecting to have it released within the next couple of months. We will be detailing more on this in our newsletter next week.

Hey guys.
I started this post 2 years back and now I'm having doubts about the use of watch app. I don't quite agree with Wayne's comment.
I've been using my Pokit pro device for a while now and I'm loving it. Although, it would be great if we have an app for watch but I feel it's not that important. I never had any issues (apart from some bugs on the ipad app which can be fixed) in connecting the pokit pro with my phone via Bluetooth. Remember, it's not just a multimeter. Oscilloscope and logger is not something you get in a legacy 10$ multimeter products.
@Lachlan...
Pokit pro is a great product and is the only one of it's kind. I would suggest you to focus on marketing and reaching out to as many people as you can. Start with colleges and labs. I'm sure your hard work will pay.0 -
Hi shaurya jain, that's what we're doing at the moment! We are working to promote Pokit Pro through means other than online ads over the coming few months and potentially other companies and educational institutions as well.

And I agree with Wayne Seltzer, there are times when a $10 multimeter is sufficient, and there are times when my Pokit is indispensable, but it would be a lot more convenient if I could look at it on my Galaxy watch without having another thing to hold, and maybe I could just do away with that $10 DMM altogether and not have to carry two measuring devices.

On Instagram pokit.innovations are showing ios and android watches with app in operation.

Hi Jasen Poole, the Pokit Android smartwatch app will be releasing this week!

Hi Lachlan M this is great news, do you know what version of Samsung watches will be compatible?
1 -
Hi Jasen Poole, the Pokit Wear OS App is tested with Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and 5, but should be compatible with earlier Samsung watches as well.

Hi Lachlan M,
Thanks for all your help, on Instagram it said release date for app is today.
Do you know when this week cause I can not find it anywhere?
Thanks again,
Jasen.0 -

Hi Jasen,
Thanks for the link- however for me it is not available for my galaxy watch 4 (SM-R875F) I suspect that it is not been pushed to my region yet as the latest available version is 1.1.4 from sep 7 (except the description has been updated to say "Now with support to Wear OS!")Best regards,
Daniel0 -
The link I sent you is showing you how to install the mobile app on your watch and use the app on your watch this way until the watch app is available on Google Play.

Yes, and I do see where I should select to install on my watch and it is grayed out saying that the application is not compatible with the unit, which either the update is not pushed (in my region) or the samsung galaxy watch 4 is not supported in the release
