Value Announcements in app via Audio Output
It would be helpful in certain scenarios where you are working with both hands and are unable to hold your phone or view your phone to have the values read to you. My application would be DC voltage and continuity. Continuity is covered with the existing beep, but when I am working in a tight spot in the field, it would be really convenient to enable an audio output that reads the voltage readings out loud either out y phone's speaker or a bluetooth headset connected to my phone. You would have to have a setting in the app that you could either set intervals it would read at or intervals of change in readings to announce a new value. For example, you would have three modes for the audio announcements: OFF, Time Interval, Value Change. If off, it wouldn't announce anything. If in time interval, there would be a user setting to set a time interval (1-20 seconds) and it would announce the value at that interval. On value change mode, there would be a user setting that would let the user specify how big of a change in values would result in the new value being announced. Example for VDC: 0.01v, 0.1v, 1v, 2v, 5v, 10v. If set to 5v, then when it goes from 0 to 12.5v it would announce the new value of "12..5 volts" If it changes to 12.1v, then nothing would be announced. If you want to replay the audio, you would remove one probe and apply it again to get it to go from 12.5v to 0v (which would be announced) and then back to 12.5v (which would be announced).

Hi Michael.
That's a good idea. Thanks for letting us know.
That will take a lot of work, though (maintenance, multiple languages, etc).
I'll let the team know about this.
