Current Measurement

HI,

I am trying to measure the input current from 2 AAA batteries connected to a low power arduino sensor. The reading should be in th eorder of 10 - 40 microamps but I can't seem to get a value I can rely upon.

Also, with the probe in place, the circuit won't boot up as the probe seems to block current??

Any ideas?

  Further to this... it seems the probe consumes approx 10mA when in the circuit. Is this correct?

  Hi Chris Luck. Are you doing this using your Pokit Meter?

  Can you try it with your Pokit Pro if it does the same?

  Also, do you have the device in series with the circuit?

  Sorry, yes its with the pokit pro in series with the positive battery lead.
