Oscilloscope Frequency Function always showing 0 Hz

I’m wondering if I am doing something wrong. I have a nice oscillating waveform on the screen and the functions show me peak to peak, rms, avg etc values no problem. However the frequency function always just shows zero hertz. What have I missed?

  Hi Stuart Mason,

  Do you have DC offset? Can you try AC coupling?
