Logging multimeter data by pushing the button on the pokit Pro rather than "save" on the phone
Is there a way to save a single reading each time the button on the Pokit Pro is pushed. Rather than touching "save" on the phone screen.
This would add extremely useful functionality to the Pokit.
Cheers

Hello Glen YHI
Yes, you should be able to save a single reading on DMM just by pressing the button on the Pokit Pro and it should save the reading.
You'll be able to see the saved reading by pressing the History button.0 -
Thanks for that. I will try that out, probably tomorrow.
Cheers

Is it possible to log multiple readings consecutively this way?
For example. I have batteries that range from 12 to 40 cells and need to take individual readings on each cell. I need to be able to touch the probes to the positive and negatove of a cell, wait for a stable reading, press the button on the probe to save the reading and then move on to the next cell without having to press on the app. Is this possible? Or would cell 2 overide the cell 1 save and so on?
If it can be done, can I then export all the readings to excel as a single file?
I have not yet purchased one, but if it worked I may end up ordering several for my shop.

Hi Kevin Everhart.
Thanks for showing interest in Pokit Innovations!Yes, this is exactly how it works, you do need to have the app open on your phone (you can have it hands free)
If you press the button on the Pokit Pro it saves the measurement into history.
It logs each measurement and gives it a timestamp and you can rename the measurements to cell1,2,3 etc later if you wish.
the pokit app exports all data as .csv files which can easily be viewed in excel
