In rush current >10A for a few milliseconds?
I want to log the current that my 12V fridge draws. The manual says it's a 5A load, but I belive the in rush current when the motor starts can be 20A ish for a few micro seconds. Will that upset a Pokit Pro please?

Hey Rob,
The Pokit Pro should handle it as the 10A rating on the fuse is for a constant current.
The fuse should be ok for a 1 second inrush of 20A,
The characteristic curve shows it should survive 2 seconds of 20A.
The internal circuitry of the Pokit Pro can't measure >16A so the measurement will clip at 16A (it shouldn't damage the circuit to go above 16A, just can't measure it).
Hope this helps.
