Welcome back to another weekly update! Here’s all the latest progress on Pokit Pro:
Production:
Our plastics are just about ready for tooling trials. You can see the plastic enclosures in the images below. We anticipate that we should have the production plastics in the Pokit Innovations office within two weeks.

A little taste of Pokit Pro Production Tooling Video
We have identified a minor issue where if you are charging via the mains power supply and are using the oscilloscope, Pokit Pro picks up noise that the power outlet is producing. This isn’t a critical issue, but we would like to find a way to reduce as much noise as possible when taking readings while charging so that it doesn’t negatively affect the accuracy of the reading. This issue is only occurring when charging via a mains power supply, so it isn’t an issue when connected to a power pack or computer.
Embedded/app:
We are still going through verification with the new Pokit App. This is taking longer than we had originally expected, and it is now our highest priority to have this as polished as possible since hardware production is going according to plan.
While doing this testing, we’ve found a way to increase Pokit Meter’s standby battery life by 300%. Although this isn’t concerning Pokit Pro, this would be great news for all of you who use Pokit Meter. There will be an update to the current Pokit Meter app in the very near future implementing this and fixing other bugs.
Be sure to continue to come back each week to keep up-to-date with how Pokit Pro is progressing!

Good to see you guys are on the case, looking foreward to getting my two Pokit Pro's.
Always better to take time and test thoroughly, I have gone through a number of iterations, of projects I've designed, before finding the best solution.
Keep up the good work, cheers.
Hi Steve Smith, thanks for the kind words and ongoing support!
The company I work for makes noise filters specifically for power outlets. If you're interested in contracting that out, they're called Alphalab inc. in Utah. No worries if you want to take care of it in house though. I get that too.
Hi Tanner Nelson, thanks for the suggestion! We are attempting to find a solution to this in-house for the time being as this is not a huge issue as it is a niche scenario, but we will keep Alphalab in mind.
Cool. Our main emphasis is scientific instruments so we also have meters specifically designed to detect noise and display a quantity of that could help with some of your diagnostics. I'm not trying to be a salesperson here. I just really love the idea of this product and want to be helpful if possible.
