Another week goes by, and we’re another week closer to having Pokit Pro in our hands for final testing! Here’s what’s new in the past week:
Production:
Everything is currently being produced, except for finalising the tool design for the thermo-conductive material. This week, we’ve been working with our tooling specialists and material scientists to ensure that Pokit Pro will be able to withstand the high internal temperatures and be safe for you, the user. We believe that this is a world-first application of this type of material. The highly specialised material that we’re using has been developed for Pokit Innovations since we have such specific needs.
Most of the components have started being produced for the first 50 PCBAs, and we’re expecting the boards to be produced and with us within the next 2 weeks.

Embedded software:
Embedded software is almost completed, but we are now waiting on the boards to arrive with us so that we can test multichannel functionality and ensure that it is running smoothly.
App:
After extensive useability testing, we’ve uncovered more bugs than we had expected. Most seem to be minor fixes, and our team will work to get through these as quickly as possible. Once we work through this final list of bugs, we should be able to roll the app out to beta testers.
You’re able to have a preview of the new Pokit App over on our YouTube channel where we run through the new features and layout:
We also have a new blog post that details the new Pokit App even further. Be sure to have a read: The New and Improved Pokit App!
Thanks for stopping by for another week of updates, and be sure to come back next week!
