Why don't Pokit devices have screens?

Pokit devices, such as Pokit Meter and Pokit Pro, don't have a screen built into them. Instead, they connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to the Pokit App on your Android or iOS device. The main reason for this is to keep our devices as small as possible for unrivalled portability.

For example, Pokit Pro is a CATIII, 600V, 10A device, so safety (electricity remaining on the inside of the device) was our number one priority when designing it. A screen would have required a larger sized device to ensure we maintained the electrical safety clearances.

Additionally, we want to take your measurement capabilities to the next level. Pokit devices utilise your smart device for a rich user experience and additional computing power allows us to do new things with measurement devices that a screened, standalone device would limit.
