what's the difference between free run and continuous?
Hi Eduardo Türk, the Free Run trigger constantly takes measurements as soon as the Pokit button is pressed.
The Continuous trigger works slightly differently. With the Continuous trigger, you set a particular trigger value (e.g. 10V) and a rising or falling trigger. You then press the Pokit button, and readings will only begin to appear once the trigger value is reached. The waveform will then update continuously (like the Free Run trigger) from that point onwards.
Hopefully, this makes sense. It'll be easier to understand if shown in a video, rather than explained in writing. We'll look to have this created as its own user guide in the future!
