Welcome back to another Pokit Pro weekly update! Here’s all the latest from this past week:
The certification lab had a couple of minor follow-up questions, which we’ve managed to answer without any problems, so we are still confident that Pokit Pro will pass safety certification. We are due to receive the certification results any day now, so expect to hear the results in next week’s update. Once Pokit Pro passes safety certification, we should be able to begin production soon after.
In the meantime, we have been sourcing the last of the components needed for Pokit Pro’s production run. These components were due to have arrived in July, but some of our suppliers have had to push back our orders that have been affected by the worldwide COVID-related shortages that have been in the news recently. We are currently searching for alternate suppliers to see if we can source these components sooner to get Pokit Pro in your hands as soon as possible.
The hardware verification that was due to be completed last Friday has been pushed back. This is because our hardware engineers have had to work on reducing the amount of noise that Pokit Pro picks up under certain circumstances. Our software engineers have been optimising Pokit Pro’s multichannel functionality and have made significant improvements to the continuous measurement function in oscilloscope mode.
