well past mid-june and still no shipping notice of my MULTIPLE pre-orders from dec 4th 2020.

. (Order 9008807 and Order 9008806 ) . what scares me is the production schedule says "We have now sold out of our 18k unit production run and any new pre-orders will be fulfilled in our 2nd batch due to be completed at the end of July."   So after waiting almost more than 2 years I get bumped yet again ?

Daniel Tone same feeling here, except I ordered 4/28/21, it sucks to keep seeing updates with absolutely no mention of the pre-orders from the site, oh well, I have learned that with crowdfunding expecting anything in any sort of time frame is hopeless and not worth the stress, and I don't suggest it if you need the thing you are ordering for anything important because you will almost certainly be disappointed.

In the end, they were cool about it and refunded the money finally.  I think they are just overcommitted and they don't have enough staff.  They have a great product idea but without delivering on a mass scale, I think they will lose a lot of potential new customers. In any event I'm going to put all this behind me and stick to my regular multimeter...good luck to everyone and I certainly hope you all get your device as soon as possible and it's as great as they say.

I must have been lucky with German customs.
    Did they give a reason?

While waiting for my order I purchased 2 regular Pokit meters, and I absolutely hate them. I gave one to my dad (former electrician) and I'm embarrassed for even offering it to him it's such a toy. Can't wait for the pro ones to get here to never want to use them either. Give me a regular multimeter any day of the week.

    Hi Mike,

Can you possibly elaborate on what you don't like about them? Like you, I was considering grabbing one in the interim and I'm curious to hear about their usefulness, virtues and shortcomings.

leads are too short and can't be replaced, the connectors that can be used to try and attach to a wire are a joke and come off so easily they're essentially useless, the fact that without a phone there is no way to use it at all and so in the future the entire device will most likely become entirely disfunctional and unable to use... anything else i can remember i will edit this later

Which I kinda expected given the constraints of something that size. But as a tool that will only be used when there's no multimeter on hand?

My pokit was held back by German customs. Obviously, the Pokit is not allowed to be imported to Germany. That's bad news, hope I get some comments from the Pokit team.

Hi Matthias Dübon, we are working on a new Declaration of Conformity that provides all the necessary information. You will be able to find the updated version here: https://help.pokitmeter.com/hc/en-us/articles/5217962119951-Pokit-Pro-EU-Declaration-of-Conformity

    Hi Lachlan,

thanks for the info but the German customs is not asking about a Declaration of Conformity, it simply states the product isn't allowed to be imported to Germany. I think you Pokit must handle this issue.

Ok, thank you. I‘m happy that the device has arrived now! :-)

The problem is not the German customs, the Bundesnetzagentur doesn't allow this product to be used in Germany, accordingly to §28 VO (EU) 2019/1020. Maybe some EMC problem, don't know. So that's a real show-stopper.

    I‘m waiting since Sept. 12 2020. It‘s a PRE-ORDER one, ordered from Germany.
    No hope yet??

Arnd Liman no info from customs? I ordered 10.03.2020 and got mine in mid July.

@Björn Will: No answers for my questions in the last months. Last email was June 10. this year: „ FINAL: Pokit Pro Shipping Address Confirmation“. And then nothing.

I got an answer from Lachlan: „Your order is confirmed to be a part of our next batch of shipments. We are just awaiting new stock to arrive within the next 2-3 weeks.“
So it will hopefully arrive soon :-)

I think my Pokit is lost, it's not allowed to be imported and it's not allowed to be sent back. You'll need to send another one to me with updated papers.

Matthias Dübon Apologies for the inconvenience here - we are currently working on a solution for the issues importing into Germany. Please submit a support request with us if you haven't already so we can know that your order has been held up: https://help.pokitmeter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

My Pokit Pro finally arrived last week. I had to pay 25 € for german customs. Is this correct? Thought it was included in „Postal“.

Hi Arnd Liman, we do not collect any VAT/customs fees at checkout, so customers are required to pay any VAT/customs fees charged when orders are processed through customs.

Hi Michael Jaciuk, I can see that your order was made via our website (Pokit Shop), so your order is currently scheduled for fulfilment in late May 2022.

I made a purchase in August 2021.  I was told it would ship Q3 of 2021.  Nothing happened.  I emailed you and was told it would ship in March 2022 now.  I waited and again nothing came.  Then I was told it would ship in March 2022 and again waited and nothing came.  Now as I write this I am told it will ship in June 2022 What's going on?

    Daniel,

I was asking similar (frustrated) questions back in May 2021. I guess I'll wait a few days for the anniversary of that email before asking the same question again "Will I see it this year?" [deep resigned sigh]

What bothers me is that I'm out of $131.00 for a product which apparently doesn't really exist as of yet.  I keep asking and they keep delaying.  And furthermore the CS "team" consists of only 1 person as far as I can tell - Lachlan M.  Throughout this whole ordeal, that's the only person that's been getting back to me.  I understand delays but this is ridiculous.  They should hire more personnel so that these type of issues can be resolved at a faster rate.  So I'm stuck here - the frustration alone isn't worth the product for me.

I do sympathize here in 2022 with the situation. It's frustrating for everyone dealing with Covid issues, component supply issues, staff shortages, the situation in China, supplier issues in general etc etc. It's a tuff gig. Where I was frustrated was in the early phases of development where it appeared (to me at least) there was no ass-kicking going on whatsoever. They (management) just appeared to accept whatever they were told without question.

As a director of a manufacturing company, that was incredibly frustrating as a customer. I can only hope I see my Pokit Pro this year, but I've learned that the holding of breath is not recommended.

That's the thing, I had no idea it was crowd funded. I ordered it from the website and I was under the impression that it was just under development and ready to ship and day now.  I learned my lesson.  They offered to return my paypal amount for $131, but I'm still waiting for that.  If I knew that this was similar to "vapor ware", I would have never purchased it....or tried to purchase it.  Thanks for all your wonderful comments...I understand what happened now.  Pity they couldn't just say that in the back and forth emails.  Just kept keeping me in suspense that I would actually get the product soon.
