2021 - The Year of the Pro (3 Feb '21)

With all the festivities well and truly over, the Pokit Team are charging full steam ahead into 2021. We can’t wait to see what this year hold, but for now, here’s a little insight into where we are at…

A Growing Team

If you take it back to last year, you’ll remember that we were looking to hire more staff for our expanding team. Well, it’s happening!

The whole process has been going smoothly, and we can’t wait to have some eager new faces join us. Having more talented resources on hand will mean we can improve our customer service and continue to create greater things into the future.

What’s more – we have also appointed a new CEO of Pokit Innovations, Heinrich Venter. He wanted to share with you all what he’s most excited about in heading up the Pokit Innovations team:

More importantly, I am thrilled to get behind the Pokit community and its thousands of loyal backers who have been with us on this journey. Chinese New Year Approaches

In terms of production, we’re currently in the process of ordering components and building the tools needed to manufacture Pokit Pro’s enclosures. With Chinese Near Year just around the corner, we’re striving to get as much as we can done on this before we hit the February production lull.

Forum

The transformation of the Forum is here! This is a space for makers and engineers to gather in a community to speak about all things POKIT! The forum is now the best place to get in touch with the Pokit team, ask questions, learn, and share.

We will be ramping up forum engagement in the coming weeks with more regular informal updates on Pokit Pro, general Pokit news, tutorials, and how-tos. We also want to know how you’re using Pokit, and we will post shout-outs for those using their Pokit devices in fun and innovative ways.
